Rocio is an experienced occupational therapist with over 20 years of expertise in home-based and school-based practice. She earned her master’s degree in occupational therapy with distinction from Mercy University. Her professional experience spans early intervention, preschool, elementary, middle, and high school settings, as well as academia.

Rocio currently serves as a senior occupational therapist for the New York City Department of Education. She is the founder of My Abilities LLC, providing home-based occupational therapy through early intervention services, and an adjunct faculty member at Mercy University, where she contributes to the occupational therapy graduate program with a focus on problem-based learning.
