Hector Rosales
Advisor
Hector has over 20 years of experience in the field of rehabilitation, with a diverse background spanning physical therapy, health education, and occupational therapy. He earned an AAS in Physical Therapy in 1999, followed by a BS in Health Education in 2006, graduating with Cum Laude honors and earning the CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist) credential. In 2012, Hector completed his MS and became a licensed occupational therapist.
His extensive experience includes working in outpatient clinics, inpatient rehabilitation centers, and hospital subacute care settings. Hector has worked with a wide range of populations, including cardiothoracic ICU patients, those with Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD), and individuals recovering from neurological, orthopedic, and post-surgical procedures. Currently, Hector specializes in pediatric mental health, providing crucial support to families of children with autism and other neurological or congenital physical disorders. He offers both in-person and teletherapy services to ensure access to quality care.
As a Board Advisor for Love Beyond Borders, Hector will leverage his multidisciplinary rehabilitation expertise to guide program development, ensure evidence-based practices, and advise on services that improve access to quality care for underserved populations. His experience across acute care, pediatrics, and community-based therapy will help strengthen mission-driven initiatives that promote holistic healing, family support, and sustainable health outcomes across borders.
